IAN MACRAE has been in radio for over 35 years.
Starting as office boy at Radio 3AW in Melbourne, Australia he gained on-air experience in country radio then worked for two years on the off-shore "pirate" radio stations in the U.K.
Returning to Australia he worked on major commercial stations in Sydney and Adelaide.
He was at Sydney 2SM at the beginning of the rise of the station to its dominance of the market where he presented the breakfast show for 13 years.
These days he writes radio related stories for trade publications, packages podcasts and audio programs for corporate businesses, does the occasional on-air shift and has a radio school in Sydney. www.radioschool.biz

BRIAN NEWINGTON is considered to be one of the top Radio Production Gurus.
He has worked at several radio stations, and his own recording studio, over several decades.
He has won many awards for creative radio production, local and international.Brian tutors students at the Sydney Institute of Technology and also The Ian MacRae Radio School, covering all aspects of digital audio production, and continues major work for advertising agencies and radio stations.
Now he is using his skills to create totally professional productions with the “Soundtracks Of Your Life” series.
